Why are we having the tournament?

This tournament serves as the booster club's biggest fundraiser. All monies raised from this event will go back to the softball program. Things such as new/additional equipment, off season training, scholarships, team bonding events, winter leagues, player gifts and working with the youth in the community are just some of the ideas as to what we are trying to raise funds to be used towards.

As in previous years, we will have lunch, snacks/drinks all day, a catered dinner, Pot of Gold Contest and Putting Contest (additional cost applies for these), as well as Long Drive/Closest to the Pin contests (included with registration). New this year is a Hole-in-One prize hole where the grand prize is a trip for 2 to the British Open!!!

Why are there "fees" showing up when I check out?

Over the past 10 years of tournaments, the softball program has covered all credit card fees and/or platform fees for all aspects of the golf tournaments. With rising costs and changing platforms, we unfortunately are unable to cover all costs this year. There will be a processing fee (the credit card fee) that will show up when you check out online. There will also be a line showing "additional transaction costs" (cost to run the website and offer live scoring, etc.). You can choose to cover these fees (by checking the box) or have the softball program cover them (by not checking the box). For those that would like to cover the fee, we greatly appreciate it and want to offer you the following as a thank you...

If the "additional transaction costs" is between $0.01 and $20.00, you will receive 4 free entries into a Tier 1 raffle prize of your choice.
If the "additional transaction costs" is between $20.01 and $40.00, you will receive 8 free entries into a Tier 1 raffle prize of your choice.
If the "additional transaction costs" is above $40.01, you will receive 10 free entries into a Tier 1 raffle prize of your choice.

In the past, Tier 1 prizes ranged from $25 gift cards to Reading Phillies tickets and more. Once we finalize the list, we will send those options out to everyone. If you choose to cover those costs for the free entries, we will see that, but if you want to email us (svsoftballboosterclub@gmail.com) as well or call/text Ryan (610-413-5698), we will be sure to mark it down and let you know what you can enter to win!!

If you want to avoid fees altogether, you can still mail in a check or meet one of us to drop off cash. Again, email us or call/text Ryan.
