This year, WAB Sports will proudly honor Mike Gosa, one of our all-time great corporate sponsorship donors and a dedicated supporter of our organization for 17 years. We sadly lost Mr. Mike in November 2025 after an illness.

PEE WEE

The Every Kid Learns Foundation and the Responsibility Foundation have teamed up with basketball all-stars “Pee Wee” Harrison, a former member of Meadowlark Lemon’s Harlem All-Stars, along with “Hollywood” Brown, a former Harlem Globetrotter. Together they are trekking across the country to meet with governors, students, teachers, principals, celebrities, VIPs, and putting on school assemblies. Their message? Responsibility.

American former football player

Football Career

College (Georgia Bulldogs): Worley is considered a UGA legend. In 1988, he earned consensus All-American honors after rushing for 1,216 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was inducted as an SEC Legend in 2013.

NFL (1989–1994): He was selected 7th overall in the 1989 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Albert Haynesworth is a former NFL defensive tackle whose career is defined by a dominant peak with the Tennessee Titans

Haynesworth was a physically dominant presence, standing 6'6" and weighing approximately 350 lbs. He played 10 seasons (2002–2011) for four different teams

Paul "Showtime" Gaffney is a legendary Harlem Globetrotter who played for the team for 15 years, from approximately 1993 to 2008. Standing 6'6", he was a master showman and "clown prince" of the team, wearing the No. 32 jersey and performing in over 93 countries.
