Gingerbread Classic - Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce

The Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce serves as the lifeblood of the business community in Ellis County. By partnering with cities, businesses, schools, churches and others, to keep our community connected so that commerce and the community may thrive. For the Past 37 years we hosted the Gingerbread Classic, to bring together our business members and community to benefit the development of new leaders through the Waxahachie Chamber Commerce "Bridge Program." Due to the overwhelming support we are excited to announce the 38th Annual Gingerbread Classic will be at Indian Creek Golf Club, in Carrollton, Tx.

Indian Creek Golf Club offers two equally beautiful courses with superior playing conditions and is one of the premiere public facilities in DFW. Here a little bit about the course, as you will get to pick which one you play during the Gingerbread Classic.

About the Creek Course: The Creek course is well-known for it's modern Championship design including rolling terrain, generous fairways and large undulating greens. The Elm Fork of the Trinity river appears throughout the Back 9, with many fairways lined by groves of native Mesquite trees. The course is inspiring throughout and brings out the best in those ready for a fun challenge.

About the Lakes Course: Fully renovated in 2019, the Lakes Course has new greens, fairways and cart paths. This nature lined course is a sanctuary for birds and golfers alike. A strategic approach here starts with proper club selection off the tee and players who can shape their shots will have an advantage. It didn’t get the name “Lakes” for no reason, as there are plenty of water features to command your attention throughout the 18 holes.

Weather you choose to Play the Lakes or Creek Course you can expect to have a great day that includes breakfast, skill and contest holes, raffle prizes, Native Texan BBQ Lunch, Award Ceremony, and so much more!
