Southaven Leadership Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Southaven Leadership Foundation is excited to return with its 6th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on Friday, July 18th, 2025, at Wedgewood Golf Club, 5206 Tournament Dr., Olive Branch, MS 38654.

SOUTHAVEN LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION OVERVIEW

The Southaven Leadership Foundation, founded in 2015, is a non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization as described in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.

The purpose of our nonprofit in DeSoto County, Mississippi, is to identify and invest in opportunities that engage today’s generation of young people in leading the social, economic, and educational transformation of underserved communities. Our mentoring program aims to groom young men to become positive leaders and successful citizens in our community. All activities and programs are modeled around the following phases: Self Identity, Training, Competition, Social/Community Service, Health Education, and Financial Literacy.

To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other social organizations and non-profit organizations that fall under the 501 (c)(3) section of the Internal Revenue Code.

The tournament goal is to raise a minimum of $60,000 in scholarship funds for participants in our mentoring program, which focuses on grades 9-12, while increasing engagement in Southaven and other DeSoto County communities with aligned needs.
