Join us on Saturday, May 20, 2023 for the annual Arkansas Craft School Golf Event at Indian Hills Golf Course in Fairfield Bay.  This year's event honors the memory of Dr. Gene Doyle and all proceeds from the event will be used to provide scholarships for students enrolling in the Arkansas Craft School's career education program.

Dr. Herman Eugene “Gene” Doyle (1927-2022) was a highly respected family practice physician in Denver, Colorado who provided medical care for members of his community for forty-four years.  He also served as Chief of Staff at St. Anthony Hospital and as president of Columbine Medical Group and offered care for many as a volunteer at Good Samaritan House and Haven of Hope.  He was a founding member of Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church where he was active and served faithfully as a member of the Parish Council. As a father to five children and nine step-children he was “dad” and an example of how to live a life of meaning.  Through a generous donation from the Doyle Family to sponsor the ACS Golf Tournament, it is fitting that we celebrate the good life of Dr. Gene Doyle.
