GLADSTONE — Team registrations are being accepted for the 5th Annual Gladstone Soo Line Steam Engine #730 Authority 4 person 18 hole Golf Scramble. The event will be held on Thursday, May 28, at the Escanaba Country Club.

Entry fee is $380 per 4-person team. The tournament format is an 18-hole scramble, and the entry fee includes green fees and dinner. Gun card raffle and 50/50 will be offered. O'Connors Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Pickford, Michigan is sponsoring a new Vehicle for a hole in one, plus other prize packages on the remaining par 3 holes.

Dinner will be served approximately around 4 p.m. and the public is invited to dine with us. The tournament will have a shotgun start at 11 a.m., with Late registration at 10 AM. The awards ceremony and raffle winners will be announced immediately following the tournament’s completion. Area golfers and families of Soo Line retirees are encouraged to sign up and join us.

Proceeds from this Golf Scramble go to the continued perpetual care of Soo Line Steam Engine #730 and the preservation of other historical railroad artifacts and Gladstone history in our planned welcome center and museum to be displayed for the added value of the community.

The Gladstone Soo Line Steam Engine Authority is a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit organization. We are seeking additional donations to help support the outing.
