Mr Dexter Davis former NFL player and proud member of Omega Psi Phi Incorporated. 

Davis has used his life's journey to positively influence male, female athletes and coaches both locally and internationally.

Having married his college sweetheart LaShea. Dexter is father of 2 girls, 2 boys and a proud Grandaddy. His platform secondary HS biology teacher, NFL.Chaplain and.sports ministry.

Dexter and LaShea Davis launched CHAMPION ministries subsequent to their roles as team chaplain and life coach for the distinguished coach Bill Curry.

Mission:

CHAMPION ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2022 by Dexter Davis, a former NFL athlete, endeavors to "help individuals realize and expand their potential for success by establishing relationships within Local, State, and Global organizations, ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME." Dexter and LaShea Davis shared a vision to leverage the professional sports platform for community service. LaShea Davis, serving as CEO, is committed to the mission of "maximizing community potential through strategic Local, State, and Global partnerships." 

C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S. has partnered with the National Football League Alumni Association South Carolina chapter, a 501(c)(3) organization, a with a like-minded vision and mission to Care for the Community. The NFL Alumni was founded in 1967 and has become the most well-known and well-respected non-profit organization comprised mainly of retired National Football League players, coaches, professionals, cheerleaders, spouse and associate members. The focus of NFL Alumni is to serve, assist, and inform players in their post-NFL lives. C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S. NFL Alumni are advocates that actively engage former players and coaches in giving back to their communities by raising funds for youth charities.

This year's benefactors will be Make-A-Wish Foundation and Liberty STEAM Charter .
