Supporting Dogs Forever
Proceeds from the tournament, along with 10% of all food and drink purchases, will be donated to Dogs Forever, a local 501(c)(3) no-kill dog shelter in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dogs Forever is 100% volunteer-run, with no paid staff and no government funding. The organization exists entirely through fundraising, grants, donations, and the support of the local community.
This fundraiser is all about our sweet Ava. She’s currently living with painful injuries in both of her back legs and needs two CCL surgeries to be able to walk, run, and live comfortably again. Each surgery is estimated at around $4,000-$4500, bringing her total medical costs close to $8,000-$9000. Ava doesn’t understand why she hurts — she just knows she needs help. Every dollar raised brings her one step closer to a pain-free life she so deeply deserves.
