Thank you for allowing Liam's love and light to continue to have a ripple effect in this world. Your participation and support means so much to us and the Epilepsy Neurogenetics Initiative (ENGIN) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Liam’s timing into this world is pretty unbelievable. The ENGIN team launched as a Frontier Program at CHOP in July of 2019. Frontier Programs conduct visionary research that translates to cutting-edge clinical care helping children to thrive. Over the past 4 years, ENGIN has provided expert care for over 4,000 children (averaging 250 kids a month) with a rare genetic diagnosis. With our support, they have also identified over 500 new epilepsy gene variations. Last year, ENGIN partnered with the research arm of Penn to create the Center for Epilepsy and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. This will allow for very promising research and gene therapy to move to clinical trial. Targeted treatments and cures are within reach. We are at the forefront of transformational change, and we are so excited to have you on this journey with us.
